B.B.A. Degree
All requirements for majors in the Department of Management are outlined below. Among the requirements are Required Courses (which may also be used to fulfill Core Curriculum requirements), Business Core courses, major courses, and electives. Pre-Business Courses

Entrepreneurship Concentration
A degree in management with a concentration in entrepreneurship is designed to provide students with the skill sets needed to effectively create and manage business opportunities. The requirements for completion of the entrepreneurship concentration are as follows: Core Curriculum Requirements (30-36 credits)

Degree Completion Concentration
This major is intended for students seeking to earn a business degree online (the B.B.A. in Management) to serve the needs of individuals who: (1) have completed an eligible transferrable Associate’s Degree (does not include the Applied Science degree) or are within 6 hours of completing their core curriculum/general education requirements, or (2) wish to be readmitted to Radford University who are within 6 hours of completing their core curriculum/general education requirements. This major is only available for transfer and readmitted students who are unable to complete a business degree on campus. Business Core Courses (27 credits)

- Courses selected from the following prefixes: ACTG, ECON, FINC, MGNT, and MKTG, where:
- A minimum of 3 credit hours are taken from each prefix
- No more than 9 credit hours are taken from the same prefix
- A minimum of 18 credit hours must be taken at the 300 or 400 level
Electives (17 credits)
This may include transfer credits from a community college as well as credit hours previously completed at Radford University. Total Credits Needed for Degree 120
Graduation Requirements
Students must have an overall grade point average GPA of at least 2.0 in all courses taken at Radford to graduate with the B.B.A. degree. In addition, students must have at least a 2.25 major GPA. For the purpose of computing the major GPA, the major is defined as all prebusiness and business core courses and the 18 to 30 hours prescribed for the major by the department. In addition, at least 50 percent of the business courses required for the B.B.A. degree must be taken at Radford University. Business courses are defined as those having the prefix ACTG, BLAW, ECON, FINC, MGNT, or MKTG. Students earning a business minor must earn a GPA of at least 2.00 in the courses comprising the minor. Courses in a minor are defined under each category. At least 50 percent of the business courses required for a minor must be taken at Radford University. |
