Coaching Sport Minor (A, L)

This minor provides students with an introduction to the field of coaching sport.

REAL Curriculum

This minor fulfills the A and L areas of the REAL Curriculum. Students in the coaching minor will describe and analyze multiple levels of influences on sport and coaching and will reflect on their skills and abilities as a future coach. Students need majors and/or minors to fulfill the R and E areas to complete the REAL Curriculum requirements.

General Education Requirements

General Education courses will be denoted below with a (GE). Students are required to take at least 30 credit hours of general education designated courses within their degree requirements. The Coaching Sport minor includes 3-12 general education credits.
