The Music Industry Minor provides for those students wishing to open their own studio, manage an arts organization, or maintain their own performance career with a solid foundational knowledge of the music industry. This minor provides useful exposure to the core topics, principles, and issues related to the music industry.

REAL Curriculum
This minor fulfills E and L areas of the REAL Curriculum. This minor provides an integration of methods/techniques and inquiry to explore the creative experience in human expression as well as a focus on the inner workings of the music industry. Students need majors and/or minors to fulfill the R and A areas to complete the REAL Curriculum requirements.
General Education Requirements
General Education courses will be denoted below with a (GE). Students are required to take at least 30 credit hours of general education designated courses within their degree requirements. The Creative Writing minor includes 6-9 general education credits.
