Students pursuing the Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice must complete a minimum of 36 semester hours from among the following areas: Required core courses (15 credits), CRJU electives (15 credits), and free electives (6 credits). Full-time graduate students are required to take CRJU 600 during the fall semester of their initial enrollment and CRJU 670 and CRJU 675 during the spring semester of their initial enrollment.

Any approved graduate class may be used for completion of the Master of Science degree, including those electives listed above. e-Portfolio
Students completing the Master of Science degree must complete an e-Portfolio as a requirement for graduation. The e-Portfolio will include one selected document from each required course, which has been approved for inclusion by the instructor. The e-Portfolio must also include a final reflection paper, which ties together all the individual submissions and required coursework from the M.S. program. The final submission must be approved by a faculty committee with interests in the selected topic.
