PSYC 688 - Consultation and Collaboration in Schools, Home and Community
Instructional Method: Three hours lecture. Prerequisites: Enrollment in the School Psychology graduate program; concurrent registration in School Psychology Practicum (PSYC 781). Provides the School Psychology graduate student with a practical and theoretical exposure to consultation, to provide them with supervised practice in techniques for establishing and maintaining consultative relationships and to help students become familiar with problem-solving techniques appropriate for consultative activities. Role playing, case simulations and discussion and analysis of cases in practicum will be used to facilitate learning.
