MUSE 462 - Student Teaching in Music PK-12

Credits: (12)
Prerequisites: Admittance into the Teacher Education Program.
Internship in PreK-Grade 12 music classes in public schools. Clinical experience on one or more grade levels appropriate to music certification in Virginia; begins with observation and limited participation and culminates in assumption of full responsibility in the classroom. Special seminars regularly scheduled to enhance the professional development of the student.

Note(s): Pass/Fail.  A fee of $110 will be charged to students taking MUSE 462.
