BIOL 314 - Gross Anatomy I Credits: (3) Instructional Method: Two hours lecture; two hours laboratory. Prerequisites: BIOL 310 or BIOL 350 . The first in a two-course sequence devoted to the study of human gross anatomy. It is designed to enhance and develop the general knowledge base received in a college-level anatomy and physiology course. This course has a lab component, which includes detailed dissection of the entire musculoskeletal system of a human cadaver. Emphasis is on osseous anatomical features, skeletal muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, and blood vessels that supply the skeletal muscles.
