CHNS 302 - Intermediate Chinese I Credits: (3) Instructional Method: Three hours lecture and language practice. Prerequisites: Completion of Elementary II (CHNS 200) with a grade of “C” or better and approval by the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures Chair. This is the third semester of a three-credit hours college course in Mandarin Chinese. It is a continuation of Elementary Chinese I (CHNS 100) and Elementary Chinese II (CHNS 200), which embeds custom and cultural aspects emphasizing four skills – listening, speaking, reading, and writing the Chinese language. The course is L designation in REAL - Applied Learning to explore professional practice through the application of knowledge, skills, and critical reflection.
