Political Science Minor (A)

The Political Science minor builds a foundation for students to understand American politics, law, and international relations.  With upper-level courses, students augment that base by choosing among a variety of topics of interest to them or areas of relevance to their future profession.  The minor complements many majors on campus by providing skills to analyze the role of politics and policy in public life.

REAL Curriculum

This minor fulfills the A area of the REAL Curriculum. Through the “A” learning outcome for cultural or behavioral analysis, the Political Science minor allows students to study and critically assess political behavior and political institutions in and beyond the United States, and the interactions between these behaviors and institutions that form the nexus of politics.
