REAL Curriculum
This minor fulfills the R area of the REAL Curriculum. Students fulfill the R area through classes requiring students to apply quantitative and scientific information to test problems to draw conclusions and to generate scientific and quantitative knowledge. These requirements are accomplished though the skills and knowledge gained multiple programming classes. General Education Requirements
General Education courses will be denoted below with a (GE). Students are required to take at least 30 credit hours of general education designated courses within their degree requirements. The Computer Science minor includes 8 general education credits. Minor Requirements (17-19 credits)
Required Courses (11-13 credits)
Requirements for a computer science minor are Electives (6 credits)
Six (6) elective credits from CS or INSY courses 200 level or higher or PHYS 370 .
Total Credit Hours for Minor 17-19
Additional Information
Each course applied to the minor must be passed with a grade of “C” or better. The minor GPA will be calculated by using the 17 best hours applied toward the minor. |
