REAL Curriculum
This minor fulfills the E area of the REAL Curriculum. Focused on the topic of humanistic inquiry as written into the E learning outcome, the Religious-Cultural Literacy for Healthcare Minor examines the close relationship between religion and health. The fixed curriculum first introduces students broadly to world religions, then delves into historical and contemporary perspectives on religion and health. Students also analyze how various religious traditions experience and explain death. The program culminates in either a capstone (when topically appropriate) or an internship. Students need majors and/or minors to fulfill the R, A, and L areas to complete the REAL Curriculum requirements.
