UAS 410 - Unmanned Aerial Systems Research

Credits: (3)
Instructional Method: Three hours lecture.
Prerequisites: UAS 408  or UAS 409 ; or permission of instructor.
Provides students with the knowledge and experience to complete a research project utilizing Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) that is targeted research toward their field of study. Students will also gain experience in verbal and written communication of their research methods and results through presentations and reports.

Note(s): This course is required for the Unmanned Aerial Systems Minor. However, students who have a research-based capstone class in their major will be allowed to substitute that class for UAS 410 to satisfy the requirements for the UAS minor under the following conditions: the research project involves UAS, there is consultation and agreement with staff from students’ home department and the UAS 410 instructor, and that all program assessments are fulfilled.
